Applications for Visiting Professors for MBA
The Graduate School of Business invites applications from experienced academics with business or consulting experience and preferably with a PhD degree to undertake teaching assignments on the MBA Programme at the USP regional campuses. The MBA is currently taught on a face to face basis in Suva, Nadi and Labasa in Fiji and in the Solomon Islands, Marshall Islands, Tonga and Samoa. Over the past decade, the MBA Programme has been taught by USP academics as well as visiting professors from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and United States. Visiting professors will be appointed on a short term contract to teach MBA subjects such as Quantitative Business Analysis, Accounting for Decision Making, Management of Information Systems, Organisational Behaviour, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Quality Management, Strategic Management, Project Management and Human Resource Management. These courses will be taught on intensive mode for over a four week period at the regional campuses where the students are studying on a part- time basis. Applications are particularly sought from persons with business management experience at a senior level.
